About The Role

We are seeking a talented Web Designer with expertise in WordPress development to design and build responsive, high-performing websites. The ideal candidate has experience creating custom themes and templates, working with design tools like Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and collaborating with clients to deliver visually compelling and functional websites.

Location: Remote (EST Timezone)

Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive WordPress websites, including custom themes and templates.
• Create mockups and prototypes using tools such as Figma, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
• Work closely with clients to understand their branding and deliver high-quality designs.
• Ensure websites are functional, visually appealing, and optimized for performance and SEO.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Web Designer with a focus on WordPress development.
• Ability to create custom templates and functionalities within WordPress.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Fluent in English (C1 level or higher); French is an asset.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work is mandatory; references are a bonus.
• Availability to work in the EST timezone for approximately 10 hours per week.
