We are currently seeking a skilled and creative Specialized WordPress Developer to join our remote team in Argentina. This role will play a crucial part in developing and customizing WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations to meet our clients' unique needs.
Job Description: As a Specialized WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins, working with APIs, and ensuring high-quality, responsive designs. Your work will directly impact the user experience and functionality of our clients' websites. You will be joining a team for a client we have known for years.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Work with APIs, including RESTful APIs and Commerce7's API.
- Create responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Maintain and update websites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Utilize version control systems like Git for project management and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively in English with clients and team members.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin creation.
- Mid-level to senior WordPress developer.
- Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Elementor is a plus. So is understanding of React.
- Experience working with APIs; knowledge of Commerce7's API is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in English (B2+ / C1) for technical documentation and communication.
- Understanding of design principles and best practices for user interfaces.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
