Job Description:

Looking for a SAP Basis Administrator with expertise in monitoring, troubleshooting the SAP technical environment and maintenance of SAP systems. Atleast 5-7 years of experience in handling SAP ECC, Oracle 19c, Linux Operating systems. Expertise in Unix/Linux and well versed with Oracle DB. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, adaptive and self-learner.

SAP Basis Administration & Support Activities:

• SAP administration on Linux

• Create/Modify Unix scripts/shell scripts for managing the integrations and file transfers

• Performance monitoring & tuning, Problem analysis & resolution, and other activities required to maintain system integrity.

• Analyse Oracle DB file systems and work with DBA in extending the data files.

• Analysis of ABAP dumps and system logs- Root cause analysis and propose a solution to resolve the issue.

• Monitoring Active users and work processes.

• Batch/Background Jobs- Scheduling and Monitoring Background Jobs.

• Monitoring the alerts and taking the appropriate actions on OS/DB File systems.

• Perform Kernel upgrades throughout the landscapes.

• Analysing and Resolving end users Authorisation related issues

• User creation and password reset

• Creating and modifying Roles

• Moving transports from Development, Quality to production

• Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.

Qualification: BE/BTech in IT or related field

Additional Information:

- This is permanent remote opportunity on 3rd party payroll

- Shift timings - 8pm to 4am IST (Flexible)
