What You’ll Do

As a Middle+ Java/Kotlin Backend Developer, you will work on critical backend systems, including credit origination services, tools for sales agents and merchants, and solutions for operational efficiency.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Core Development:

• Build backend services using Kotlin (Spring or Micronaut) to support credit origination
• Design and implement business logic agent performance management, and operational monitoring.
• Develop APIs (REST/gRPC) to facilitate seamless integration with internal and external partners.

Operational Tools Development:

• Build tools to optimize recruitment, performance tracking, and management of loan sales agents and merchants.
• Implement monitoring and reporting solutions to improve operational visibility.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally:

• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to discuss architectural decisions and ensure robust, scalable implementations.

Maintain High Standards:

• Conduct code reviews, optimize system performance, and ensure production stability.
• Continuously enhance scalability, security, and reliability of services to meet growing demands.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• English and Russian proficiency at B2 level or higher to collaborate with international colleagues and review documentation.
• At least 3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong Kotlin skills (or solid Java experience with a willingness to transition to Kotlin).

Soft Skills

• Self-driven with the ability to make informed decisions independently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience with agile methodologies, such as Kanban, is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with decision-making (e.g., DMN).
• Experience with process orchestration (e.g., BPMN).
