Job Description
Our client is a renowned global innovator, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GCP and architecture, coupled with expertise in Kubernetes, Unix, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible, Docker, and DevOps principles.
Responsibilities:
- Google Cloud Expertise: You design architectures, carry out migrations and optimise existing cloud systems.
- Customer requirements: You take on customer requirements in the areas of cloud computing, IaaS, PaaS and Saas and analyse them.
- Platform architecture: You develop tailored solutions with the Google Cloud Platform (from the architecture sketch to live operation).
- Professional experience: You have practical knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration or comparable fields.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification desirable
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on GCP with minimum 5 yrs of experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- In-depth knowledge of Unix systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with Docker for containerization.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- GCP certifications preferred.
Language:
- English is a must
- Arabic is an advantage
