Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in cloud migration and data center projects.
- Knowledge of AWS Public Cloud and application migration.
- Strong background in data center operations and decommissioning.
- Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment with distributed teams.
- Experience managing projects in a mostly waterfall methodology.
- Excellent skills in execution tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a project around the execution and tracking of the data center closure and migration of applications to AWS Public Cloud.
- Work closely with a Technical Program Manager (TPM) based in Seattle and global teams to ensure project alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BT application owners, storage, and cloud teams, to facilitate smooth migrations.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery in a mostly waterfall environment.
- Ensure alignment with migration strategy and roadmap, focusing on timely execution.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations throughout the migration process.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across global teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
- Oversee the decommissioning of legacy infrastructure and data center resources.
