Job Description

We are looking for an Endpoint Protection Specialist who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.


Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support for Endpoint Security Solutions:
  • Provide support for endpoint protection tools such as anti-malware, removable device control, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), disk wiping, and hard-drive encryption.
  • Assist NATO CIS administrators and IT Security Officers in implementing endpoint security best practices.
  • Trellix Product Management:
  • Oversee the product lifecycle of Trellix solutions (ePO, ENS):
  • Test and track new releases.
  • Update configurations to align with industry standards and organizational security requirements.
  • Manage documentation updates for all changes.
  • Lead and support change management processes across deployments.
  • Configuration and Testing:
  • Formulate and test endpoint security configurations, creating comprehensive installation and deployment guides for NATO sites and nations.
  • Develop and update guidelines, ensuring ease of use for systems administrators and users.
  • Threat Monitoring and Incident Management:
  • Monitor IT security threats (e.g., malware trends) and assess emerging cybersecurity protection tools.
  • Provide NCSC (NATO Cyber Security Centre) with security analyst expertise to support incident handling.
  • Compliance and Auditing:
  • Conduct endpoint configuration checks to enforce COMPUSEC (Computer Security) directives, policies, and guidelines.
  • Continuously review and update applicable system configurations and compliance documentation.
  • Consultancy and Teamwide Objectives:
  • Provide advanced cybersecurity consultancy to projects, teams, and operations, ensuring alignment with security architectures.
  • Collaborate with administrators across systems and networks to address key security challenges.
  • Work actively to support team milestones and meet organizational objectives.


Required Qualifications

  • Trellix Expertise:
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in managing Trellix ePO and ENS solutions, including diagnosing and resolving issues with Trellix antimalware tools.
  • Proven ability to write and edit custom expert rules in ENS.
  • Systems Administration:
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Windows infrastructure, including troubleshooting and systems administration.
  • Practical experience supporting Trellix products across a large enterprise environment.
  • Endpoint Protection Management:
  • Expertise in managing product life cycles, including tracking updates, refining configuration standards, updating documentation, and implementing system changes.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer and communications security principles, networking protocols, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex cybersecurity issues.
  • Communication and Documentation:
  • Exceptional technical writing skills for developing user-facing documentation and configuration guides.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate complex security concepts to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in additional Trellix tools, such as:
  • Trellix Drive Encryption
  • Trellix File and Removable Media Protection (FRP)
  • Trellix Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Trellix Application and Change Control
  • Knowledge of Linux systems infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with NATO IT systems requirements and constraints.
  • Experience working within NATO operations, National military organizations, or similar environments.
