VR Unity Developer LATAM

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in Unity development, with robust experience using Unity 2022 LTS and C#

- **Proven, in-depth VR development experience, with a portfolio of fully realized immersive applications**

- Proven expertise in crafting custom wrappers for third-party plugins—including native C# DLLs—ensuring smooth integration

- Extensive experience with Photon Unity Networking for implementing multiplayer and voice communication

- Strong background in external API integration using standard HTTP for REST calls and TCP websockets for real-time communications

- Demonstrated experience integrating AI, specifically ChatGPT, to power natural voice interactions

- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication in English

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of an advanced VR simulation platform

- Harness Unity 2022 LTS and cutting-edge C# practices to build a robust, high-performance VR experience

- Implement and optimize multiplayer and voice functionalities using Photon Unity Networking

- Develop and maintain custom wrappers for third-party plugins, ensuring compatibility with legacy systems (i.e., .NET 2.0)

- Integrate external APIs effectively using HTTP for REST and TCP websockets for real-time interactions

- Spearhead the integration of ChatGPT to enable lifelike, conversational interactions in virtual environments

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and maintain a high-quality, scalable codebase
