QA Engineer

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a QA Engineer to join a fast-growing platform transforming electronics design through artificial intelligence. The company’s platform is used by over 1.5 million engineers globally to accelerate the creation of cutting-edge products such as drones, electric cars, and VR headsets. As a QA Engineer, you will take full ownership of software quality, ensuring platform reliability and excellence in user experience. This is a fully remote role, prioritizing candidates from Latin America and Eurasia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed end-to-end test plans and test cases.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, including performance testing, to ensure platform reliability.
• Identify, document, and validate defects, bugs, and usability issues.
• Collaborate with the software team to refine continuous build and deployment processes.
• Monitor metrics and maintain/enhance testing frameworks to ensure quality assurance best practices.
• Drive improvements in testing methodologies and frameworks.
  
  

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of QA testing experience.
• Proficiency in manual testing and various testing types (functional, non-functional).
• Expertise in the test lifecycle, including planning, designing, automation, execution, and reporting.
• Strong SQL knowledge and API testing automation experience.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with a detail-oriented, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.
