Senior Java Developer (relocation to Belgium)

We are looking for an Senior Java Developer who is willing to relocate to join our team in Brussels, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and support of foundational components for banking applications, such as frameworks (Java, .Net), content management systems, API gateways, and exchange layers.
• Analyze, design, and implement solutions for document generation and distribution for internal and external customers.
• Provide expert advice and support on client- and back-end-side development while adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to address project feedback and evaluate new components.
• Write detailed analysis documents, user guides, and technical reports.
• Participate actively in testing phases to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support for topics related to document generation and integration.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Java Engineer in an Agile environment.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, Object-Oriented Programming (OO), REST, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and testing tools like Selenium.
• Experience working in cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to continuous learning, with full ownership of personal development.
• Knowledge of the latest technical developments and trends within the industry.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members, encouraging knowledge-sharing within the team.
• A solid understanding of banking operations, with the capability to transform business needs into effective software solutions.
