ConfiARTE selects IPTV Support Engineer to work in Deutsche Telekom project in Germany.
Tasks
Responsibilities:
- 2º support Line. Maintaining the IP network. Provide IPTV Application Maintains / Product Operation Technical Supporting
- IP Network design and implement
- Spare Part Management
- Troubleshooting, Logs capture, Root Cause identify for IPTV application
- New function or business improvement requirement fulfillment by product configuration
- Hardware including servers, storage, network device maintenance and related problem analysis
- Linux Backend/file system maintenance, Database maintenance.
- New application patch/release installation
- Testing bed installation, configuration and Maintains
- Provide support in functionality and acceptance testing during the implementation of IPTV systems
- Perform application automation and script writing
- Ensure availability of accurate documentation of standards, guidelines and procedures for effectively managing and maintaining the Application
- Prepare system healthy, capacity and performance reports
- Implement and support audit and compliance regulations as per requirements
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science
- IP Network knowledge
- Vlan /VRRP/Firewall knowledge
- Experience in operating systems (SuSE Linux & Windows), and in hardware like servers, storage, or network devices
- Experience in MS Office(Word, Excel, PPT) experience
- Knowledge from IT industry working experience, have knowledge of IPTV products.
- Be familiar with TV (IPTV or OTT) backend side including MDN, CDN, EPG etc,. in order to troubleshooting the production issues daily base.
- Desirable experience in Oracle Database
- Desirable knowledge in Script language for programming (Shell/Perl/Python) or Java programming
- Be familiar with problem troubleshooting, response, escalation, report and consolidation
- Be careful, patient and responsible for the daily activities.
- Provide a 24x7 service supervision through urgent on call supporting
- Fluent in English. Plus German or Chinese.
