As an Engineering Director - Platform (Cloud Infrastructure), you will

• Build a robust team.
• Communicate with leadership.
• Report directly to the CTO.
• Build a scalable DevOps and MLOps infrastructure.
• Accompany our transition to offering a SaaS product.
• Enable our business model which is fully driven AWS and Azure.
• Manage huge computational loads for a 100+ Engineer company.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering and/or DevOps.
• 2+ years leading DevOps and/or platform teams in a technology-driven company.
• Leadership experience
• Excellent leadership skills. Ability to prioritize and manage urgency while delivering on long term goals is a must.
• Communication. Need to break down and motivate complex concepts with no jargon.
• Perfect command of English.
  
  
  

Technical Knowledge:

• Solid understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
• Experience deploying SaaS solutions.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience of AWS and Azure.
• Proven experience using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (i.e. Terraform, etc).
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Database experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other.
