Your Role as a Mentor
This is a remote part-time role for a DevOps Engineering Mentor. The Mentor will be responsible for guiding mentees through various aspects of DevOps and cloud engineering. In this role, you will:
- Conduct 1-on-1 mentorship sessions (1-2 per week per mentee)
- Provide technical guidance, career advice, and project-based learning
- Help mentees prepare for job interviews and certifications
- Share real-world industry insights and best practices
- Foster a growth mindset and hands-on problem-solving skills
Who We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of professional experience in a reputable organisation(s)
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and cloud security
- Passion for mentorship; previous mentoring or teaching experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to break down complex concepts
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
