Frontend (react) Developer

About the role

We are seeking a front end developer to serve the AdTech space. With a proficient level in spoken english to be able to understand complex problem statements and and lead the execution.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

• Design, develop, and optimise front-end features for a modern AdTech platform using React and related technologies.
• Work closely with backend developers and data engineers to integrate APIs, real-time data streams, and ad delivery functionalities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, particularly in discover platforms and programatic ad delivery platforms to incorporate best practices and innovations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive workflows.
• Have experience working on UI/UX projects. Design holistic systems, flows, and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and beautiful through detailed wireframes, visual compositions, and prototypes.
• Design user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the development of innovative tools.
• Optimise user experience through usability testing and iterative design improvements.
• Create visually appealing UI designs that align with our brand identity and product vision.
• Develop detailed mock-ups and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Ensure a consistent look and feel across all products, focusing on simplicity, accessibility, and ease of use.

Experience - Minimum of 1 years in React development and web application development.

Required 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, javascript and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Express.js , WebSockets, and real-time data integration.
• Knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
• Proficiency in Figma and strong knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Experience with data-driven design, usability testing, and responsive design.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, particularly for web-based or SaaS platforms.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
• Expertise in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
• A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
• A creative passion for designing exceptional user experiences.
• Attention to detail and a talent for balancing aesthetics with functionality.

What would really help:

• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate technical concepts to potential customers and users.
• Experience using common technologies and frameworks (REST APIs, NodeJS, React, Next.js, Figma, Lighthouse etc.).
• Knowledge of test-driven development and CI/CD processes.
• Solid understanding of containerisation technology and its use.
• Experience querying remote data stores (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.).
• Knowledge of ontologies and their use in semantic web applications.
• Interest in setting up, administrating, and maintaining computer hardware.
