Head of IT - Sustainability Non-Profit

Our non-profit branch focuses on providing scientific facts and debunking myths about beauty and household products to help consumers make informed purchasing decisions. Our team, composed of researchers, marketers, and writers, is dedicated to the long-term sustainability of CPG production and distribution.

Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for the Head of IT at The Skynth Research. The Head of IT will be responsible for managing IT operations, developing and implementing tools (websites and new task automation tools) and ensuring the overall efficiency of the department. This role also involves coordinating with other departments to support their IT needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Information Technology and Cybersecurity
• Experience in website development and maintenance
• Knowledge of both front-end UI/UX and back-end infrastructure design and implementation
• Knowledge of APIs integration
• No aversion to AI tool
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in non-profit organizations is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

More details:

• This position is fully remote.
• Expected working hours is 10-20 hours per week. Exact working hours is fully flexible, with expectation of 1-2 hours of meeting times with senior management and/or colleagues.
