About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic and innovative startup team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing robust mobile applications using React Native, with strong expertise working in agile startup environments. This is a fully remote contract opportunity specifically tailored for talented developers based in LATAM.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build, maintain, and optimize mobile applications using React Native.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers.

- Implement seamless integrations with backend services and APIs.

- Ensure high-quality and performant applications through rigorous testing and debugging.

- Contribute actively to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Proactively identify areas of improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of overall software development experience.

- Extensive experience with React Native, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.

- Proven ability to deliver high-quality mobile apps, with examples of shipped applications.

- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.

- Strong experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in remote settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with integrating native device features and third-party libraries.

- Experience implementing offline capabilities (e.g., SQLite, AsyncStorage).

- Exposure to backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, RESTful APIs).
