The Role

We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling mobile applications for our clients. You will be responsible for developing robust, high-performance, and user-friendly mobile experiences using React Native, with Supabase as the backend. This is an opportunity to work on exciting startup and SMB projects while leveraging modern technologies like serverless architecture, PostgreSQL, authentication solutions, and real-time databases.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Integrate Supabase for authentication, database management, and real-time capabilities.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring smooth and efficient experiences.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement high-quality, responsive interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and product managers to design scalable architectures.
• Implement best practices for mobile security, data synchronization, and offline functionality.
• Debug and resolve technical issues while improving the overall app experience.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in React Native, Supabase, and mobile development.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in React Native development.
• Experience working with Supabase, Firebase, or other backend-as-a-service platforms.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database schema design.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, magic links, etc.).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or React Query).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data handling.
• Understanding of mobile app deployment on App Store & Google Play.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Detox).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Expo and EAS (Expo Application Services).
• Background in serverless architectures and cloud computing.
• Previous work in a startup or product-focused environment.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations in mobile apps.
