Cybersecurity Project Manager (relocation to Belgium)
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Cybersecurity Project Manager who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.
Important: Due to the nature of this role, only EU citizens can be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and control the cost, scope, and schedule of cybersecurity projects to ensure successful delivery of critical capabilities.
- Coordinate contributions from a wide range of NATO stakeholders and industry representatives.
- Develop realistic and achievable project plans and present them to senior executives and governance bodies for approval.
- Oversee the implementation of NSIP (NATO Security Investment Programme) projects with a focus on major cybersecurity procurement initiatives.
- Plan, request, and allocate resources to achieve project milestones, initiating corrective actions when required.
- Define and lead the execution and successful completion of projects, including preparing and submitting project proposals and contributing to procurement strategy source selection processes.
- Monitor and control project progress and risks to ensure resources are consumed within approved budgets and timelines.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership, senior executives, and governing committees.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze challenges, and propose actionable solutions.
- Proactively manage risks to ensure project deliverables meet the required scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
- Provide effective leadership to project teams, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Initiate corrective actions when deviations from targets occur and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices.
Requirements
- A university degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Management, or a related discipline (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or higher). Applicants without a degree may be considered with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMI PMP, or DAWIA Program Management Level II.
- Detailed knowledge of the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP).
- Proven track record managing large-scale Cybersecurity or ICT projects within complex stakeholder environments.
- Extensive experience in developing Statements of Work (SoWs) as the basis for competitive bidding, including defining detailed technical and non-technical requirements.
- Proactive attitude with strong skills in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities, including briefing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
