Hi there! We are a small technological company from the Netherlands. Our product is a CRM-driven platform, combining its core features of public and multi-step flows, task focused layouts, multi-channel interactions and much more, into a powerful relation management tool.

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer to take ownership of our automated testing processes and ensure the stability and performance of our application. Our product is built using TypeScript and follows a microservices architecture, requiring a structured approach to end-to-end testing and automation. You will work closely with engineers to maintain test reliability, create automated scenarios, and support manual testing where needed.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Execution

• Own and maintain the automated testing process for our application
• Develop and execute end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Ensure test stability by identifying root causes of test failures and collaborating with engineers to fix them
• Expand automated test coverage for single-page applications (SPA) and microservices-based features

Manual & Exploratory Testing

• Perform manual testing for parts of the application not yet covered by automation
• Identify critical edge cases and gaps in test coverage
• Work alongside our current tester to accelerate the transition to test automation

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies
• Advocate for best testing practices and automation-first approaches
• Contribute to improving the CI/CD pipeline by integrating tests efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in automated end-to-end testing
• Strong knowledge of Playwright for front-end test automation
• Familiarity with testing microservices-based applications
• Experience testing single-page web applications (SPA)
• Ability to choose the right test scope and strategy based on risk analysis
• Extensive experience in creating and maintaining automated test scenarios
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for effective communication

Tools & Technologies You’ll Use

• Playwright – for automated end-to-end testing
• TypeScript – primary language for test scripts
• Jira – for bug tracking and test case management
• Microservices testing tools (as applicable)
