Job Description
Our mission is to inspire people to spend more time in Nature. It's proven to have a very positive impact on our health and happiness.
We are building a marketplace for booking unique spots in Nature – glampings, cabins, treehouses, private campgrounds, and more. We have an experienced team working in a big and growing market. We launched the platform three years ago and have already generated thousands of bookings, expanded into two countries (🇵🇱 🇪🇸), onboarded 3,300+ Hosts, and built a community of over 400k social media followers. Our goal is to become the world’s #1 marketplace for booking spots in Nature. We are backed by top Polish investors and internet entrepreneurs.
We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester who wants to be a key player in ensuring the quality of our platform. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this role is for you!
- 100% remotely – always and forever.
- We start (and even finish) writing automated tests in the same sprint as the user story because we have time for it. The best part? Anyone can confidently write them.
- Developers and testers communicate effectively and proactively collaborate. Testers are involved in refinements, where we can carefully consider potential hidden issues before they arise.
- There’s no shortage of test environments, and we use the latest tools. Bugs are caught and fixed before production, not on production.
- Deployments go smoothly – no last-minute surprises at 5:59 PM on a Friday.
- Documentation exists, is up-to-date, and people read it. When something breaks, logs are clear and say more than just *undefined is not a function*.
- We offer 26 paid days off per year, so you can rest your bones.
- Design and run functional and regression tests – breaking things before users do.
- Collaborate with developers and team leadership to maintain quality as a shared responsibility, not just a QA checkbox.
- Write and maintain test documentation, including well-structured test cases – so future-you (and the team) will thank you.
- Perform functional testing based on test cases – because gut feeling isn’t a testing strategy.
- Own the bug life cycle: investigate, report, and track defects until they’re actually fixed.
- Spot issues, report them, and make sure they don’t get lost in the void.
- Oversee the QA side of releases – preparing tasks, testing, and keeping the team informed, so launches are smooth, and not stressful.
- After first 6M, when you know the app well, you can contribute to the automation tests as well
- Work closely with analysts and the product owner (Scrum) to understand business requirements—because good tests start with knowing what matters.
- Focused, goal-oriented people who want to be part of a fast-growing startup and actually make an impact.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience testing web and mobile apps – because the theory is great, but the practice is what counts.
- Comfortable with planning, analyzing, executing, and evaluating tests – basically, seeing the whole QA process through from start to finish.
- Solid English skills—because clear communication makes everything easier.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman – because clicking through a UI isn’t always enough.
- A good grasp of testing fundamentals (ISTQB Foundation level or equivalent knowledge).
- The ability to drive and support QA activities within the team, not just follow along.
- A tester’s mindset – attention to detail, a focus on quality, and the curiosity to dig deeper when something feels off.
- Being able to fluently speak Polish (B2/C1) and English (B1+), as the majority of communication is in Polish, whereas the tasks and documentation is in English.
- Experience in automated testing (Cypress in the project).
- Ability to read logs.
- Working with SQL and noSQL databases
