Founding Engineer

Our client, a rapidly growing AI healthcare startup, has recently secured their seed funding and is expanding their founding team! They are developing cutting-edge AI simulations for healthcare evaluation and training, leveraging advanced speech-to-speech AI interactions. With a relocation to San Francisco planned for late May 2025, they are offering remote work until then and are looking for ambitious professionals to join their team.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and scale AI-driven applications for healthcare evaluation and training.
• Work on full-stack development, focusing on Next.js, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to shape product direction and technical strategy.
• Build intuitive and high-performing web applications leveraging large language models (LLMs).

What We’re Looking For:

• 2-4 years of professional (non-internship) experience in machine learning or software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js (a must-have!).
• Experience in startup environments or as a founding engineer.
• Bonus points for familiarity with agentic workflows or LLM-based applications.

Compensation:

• Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 (based on experience).
• Equity: 1.5% - 3% (vested).
• Flexible start dates, with visa sponsorship options available.

Interview Process:

• 3 rounds: An intro call with the CTO, a short technical assessment, and a final call with the CEO.
