The Role

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer with an interest in DevOps to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the technical landscape and can provide a strategic, birds-eye view on technology decisions while also being involved in hands-on in implementation.

Responsibilities

• Ruby on Rails Development.
• Manage Linode infrastructure, including installing packages and performing updates.
• Implement and configure caching solutions to optimize performance.
• Handle AWS permissions and infrastructure management.
• Utilize Capistrano for deployment automation.
• Ensure best practices in CI/CD, security, and system monitoring.
• Collaborate with a small team, contributing ideas.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails development.
• DevOps experience, with experience managing infrastructure and deployments.
• Familiarity with Linode, including installing packages and system updates.
• Experience with AWS, particularly in managing permissions and cloud resources.
• Capistrano experience for deployment automation.
