C++ Developer – High-Frequency Trading (HFT) | Amsterdam | Proprietary Trading Firm
Join a leading high-frequency trading (HFT) proprietary fund based in Amsterdam as a C++ Developer, where you'll work on cutting-edge trading systems at the heart of financial markets.
As a key member of our development team, you will design, develop, and optimize ultra-low-latency trading systems. Your work will directly impact the performance of our trading strategies, requiring a deep understanding of C++, high-performance computing, and real-time data processing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize high-performance trading systems with a focus on ultra-low latency.
- Implement real-time algorithms and ensure seamless communication between trading applications and exchanges.
- Collaborate closely with traders and quantitative researchers to enhance system performance and trading strategies.
- Analyze and improve system performance, minimizing latency and maximizing throughput.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the production environment to ensure stability and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and experience with low-level systems programming.
- Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and high-performance computing.
- Experience working in low-latency, high-throughput environments.
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/UDP) and system-level programming.
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages (Python or Bash) is a plus.
- Passion for financial markets or previous experience in high-frequency trading, proprietary trading, or similar environments is highly advantageous.
