Job Description

The Company:


Globally renowned with offices throughout the world and a strong industry expertise within the payments industry.


This organization is looking to bring on a remote Site Reliability Engineer to own the already existing DevOps function whilst also providing support to the team. Based anywhere in New Zealand


The role


As the SRE, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure while providing technical support for the payments API platform and blockchain projects. The team promote the usage of Google and AI.


Requirements to be successful in the role:


  • At least 5+ years working in DevOps / Site Reliability or similar field
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms - GCP (Preferred)
  • Must have worked with IaaS - Terraform
  • Good working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Sentry)
  • A solid hands on coder (.NET/Go environment)
  • Database operations - PostgreSQL & Redis


Ideally:


  • Will come from a payments background
  • Knowledge of blockchain technologies
