Java/Spring/AWS Dev - remote, freelance, nonbanking

At LinkSoft, we are mostly developers working from Czechia (90% of the 150 people we have), and this time we are looking for a new Java-skilled colleague, who has seen a lot and wants a project where:

• you can work as a freelancer,
• the work is clearly defined,
• people understand what they are doing (and want to do it),
• there is a well planned timeline for delivery,
• normal Czech "office hours",
• senior colleagues looking for someone similar,
• you only do backend development, but understand how web, frontend, cloud, security, etc. works,
• you are expected to do a clear and simple code with standard tools,
• no non-necessary meetings are held,
• you can work from home or Prague office,
• 40 hours/week is guaranteed, but is flexible based on your current capacity,
• its not a bank,
• your invoice is paid within 15 days,
• teamleader has long experience as developer,
• wants to speak primarly Czech, but also use English.

The team of 7 needs someone to join from March for at least 6 months (ideally longer), so the backlog can be dealt with faster.

What do we do at LinkSoft Technologies?

For 16 years, LinkSoft has been supplying clients with customized information systems as well as experts who enrich the client's development team or help them with consultations in the given IT area. We have an experienced team of developers, analysts, project managers, testers and other specialties related to software development. We work with customers from various fields, so no one gets bored with us.

What else to know about the project and us?

• we prefer long term cooperation - after the project ends we want to keep you and just give you another project,
• 50% is rewrites of existing code, 30% new code, 20% is AWS edits,
• we need you to be within Czechia or Slovakia for this project and only freelancers (sadly its a must, the project setup also doesnt allow for employment or visa sponsorships),
• option to work from home or from company office in Prague (Andel or Old town),
• at LinkSoft we try to make work as enjoyable as possible - who is interested can join for monthly social outings, we always keep in touch, look for options for development or just let you focus on the job and pay on time :) ,
• And finally - maybe it sounds strange, but most of us really look forward to go to work :)
