Senior Art Director | FMCG Industry | MEA Region (Abidjan & Paris)

Location: Primarily based in Abidjan with potential for part-time remote work from Paris or elsewhere.

Compensation: Competitive $six-figure salary with a comprehensive expatriate package, including housing allowance.

Renowned for their extensive product range, commitment to innovation, and robust market position, they are seeking a seasoned Senior Art Director to elevate their premium packaging and branding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee the conceptualization and execution of high-end packaging designs that align with brand specifications and regulatory standards.
• Brand Development: Craft compelling graphic identities (Key Visuals) for both standard and flagship products, ensuring consistency with the brand's visual guidelines.
• Visual Content Creation: Produce 2D/3D visuals, illustrations, and mood boards to guide research and development, resulting in engaging product presentations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to anticipate and fulfill creative requirements.
• Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of global design trends, technological advancements, and industry developments to inspire innovative packaging solutions.
• Project Management: Lead design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 8-10 years in art direction, packaging design, or branding, preferably within the FMCG, cosmetics, food or luxury goods sectors.
• Market Knowledge: Extensive experience in the French market, with a deep understanding of its industry trends and consumer preferences.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and familiarity with 3D design tools such as SketchUp or AutoCAD.
• Creative Acumen: Strong artistic sensibility with the ability to translate concepts into impactful visuals.
• Communication Skills: Fluency in French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Adaptability: Willingness to relocate or travel between Abidjan and Paris as required.
