Are you a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive experience in large-scale data migration projects within enterprise environments? Are you ready to take on a high-profile contract role where your expertise will directly shape critical data transformation initiatives?

We’re seeking a contract Business Analyst to join a leading enterprise client on an initial six-month engagement. This role sits outside IR35 and offers up to £450 per day.

The Role

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in a major data migration initiative, ensuring a seamless transition of large volumes of data across systems. You will work closely with key stakeholders to define business requirements, identify risks, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver a successful migration strategy. This will involve capturing requirements for integration, consolidating requests, and working with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure a smooth and effective data transition.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead and support end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and business continuity

✅ Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable data migration strategies

✅ Capture requirements for integration and ensure alignment across multiple data sources

✅ Consolidate and prioritise requests from various business units

✅ Work closely with technical teams to validate data mapping, cleansing, and transformation processes

✅ Engage senior stakeholders to align project goals, facilitate decision-making, and manage expectations

✅ Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, ensuring compliance with industry best practices

✅ Support post-migration validation and troubleshooting to guarantee a smooth transition

What We’re Looking For

🔹 Proven experience as a Business Analyst leading large-scale data migration projects within enterprise organisations

🔹 Detailed data experience is mandatory, including data structures, ETL processes, and data governance principles

🔹 Experience working with complex legacy systems and modern cloud-based technologies

🔹 Strong ability to capture integration requirements and work across multiple teams

🔹 Exceptional stakeholder management and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments

🔹 Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
