Treasure Data CDP Solutions Architect

Our Sports and Outdoor Retail client is looking for a Direct Hire, Solutions Architect in Katy, TX (100% Onsite, relocation assistance is available). You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the technical architecture and integration of Treasure Data CDP. You will work with a variety of technical tools and technologies for data ingestion, processing, integration, and activation.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and recommend appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Develop and execute solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
- Work with the business and technology subject matter experts to derive end-to-end solutions that provide value to the enterprise
- Interact with business leadership to establish a solid working relationship between IT and operations
- Model solutions from conceptual, logical and physical perspectives (N+1 views)
- Create artifacts that define the N+1 views of the end-to-end solution (context, data domain, logical, physical, and deployment)
- Facilitate the requirements refinement process; with special focus on service-level requirements
- Collaborate with other parts of IT to ensure a thorough understanding of the proposed architecture.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure traceability of the design to the proposed solution architecture
- Articulate architecture decisions behind the solution architecture
- Take initiative in working with business stakeholders to ensure their requirements (immediate and future) are addressed by IT
Required Experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering required
- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology solutions architecture role
- 2-3 years of retail experience (Clothing, Sporting Goods, Household Goods)
- Experience implementing MarTech CDP, preferably Treasure Data CDP
- Experience in Data Integration patterns and tools
- Experience in designing solutions in cloud and hybrid cloud environments (Google Cloud and Azure)
- Understanding of networks and security as it relates to integration and data flow between systems
- Solid grasp of security in both on-prem as well as cloud environments
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of retail supply chain and planning, including merchandising
- At least two implementations of enterprise class supply chain management systems
- Strong experience in services (SOA/Microservices) design
- Strong experience with retailing COTS enterprise class applications
