Infrastructure Engineer (relocation to Belgium)

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium. The ideal candidate will work in an Agile environment and play a critical role in ensuring the stability of technical environments (production and non-production) for a specific application within the Risk & Support Tribe. This position involves collaboration with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to deliver and maintain high-quality IT infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to support the successful delivery of projects.
• Perform IT infrastructure-related tasks to ensure operational stability and efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate software releases across various environments.
• Execute operational tasks to maintain the asset and ensure continuity of services.
• Set up and review monitoring solutions to maintain optimal system performance.
• Automate recurring tasks to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications (MANDATORY):

• Proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Experience with Nginx web server configurations.
• Strong expertise in Ansible automation for automating tasks and infrastructure provisioning.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with API Management tools to support integration and communication layers.
• Experience with DevOps tools and technology, including:
• Helm chart for Kubernetes configuration management.
• Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
• HashiCorp Vault (HVault) for secrets management.
• Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
• Nexus for artifact management.
• Basic network knowledge including VPN and NAT configurations.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of MS SQL database management.
