Java Developer (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Java-based applications for credit risk calculations in a distributed Big Data architecture.

✔️ Collaborate with business analysts to define and implement pragmatic solutions.

✔️ Design, implement, and optimize Java batch processes for risk calculation.

✔️Ensure banking regulatory compliance through automated compliance checks.

✔️ Work in cross-functional teams using Scrum & SAFe frameworks.

✔️ Contribute to unit, integration, and performance testing for system reliability.

✔️Improve internal tools, frameworks, and development processes.

Requirements

🎓 Degree in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, or a related MINT field, or equivalent qualifications.

💻 Several years in Java development, including Java batch processing.

🏗 Software Architecture: Strong understanding of application design and architecture principles.

🛠 Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus for software configuration and CI/CD.

📊 Big Data Technologies: Experience with Hadoop, Apache Spark, Scala is a plus (training provided).

🚀 Knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, and agile development methodologies.

🔍 Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into practical solutions.

🗣️ Languages: German B1 and fluent English.
