Website Developer

@ASK Training is looking for a Website Developer (Based in Malaysia and to work remotely) to join our team and ensure our website remains optimized, functional, and up-to-date. This role involves working closely with our web development agency, troubleshooting and resolving website issues, improving website performance, and assisting the SEO specialist in optimizing the site for search engines. You will also be responsible for making updates and enhancements to the website as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the company website, ensuring smooth functionality and responsiveness.
• Work closely with the web development agency to implement improvements and resolve technical issues.
• Optimize website speed and performance to enhance user experience.
• Assist the SEO specialist with on-page SEO enhancements, including metadata updates, internal linking, and technical SEO fixes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, such as bugs, loading speed problems, and broken links.
• Ensure content updates (e.g., course dates, descriptions, banners) are completed accurately and on time.
• Implement security updates, backups, and system patches to keep the website stable and secure.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure landing pages, CTAs, and conversion elements are optimized for lead generation and user engagement.
• Ensure the website follows best practices for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and user experience (UX/UI).
• Provide recommendations for website enhancements and future developments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Web Developer, preferably with a background in WordPress or similar CMS.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website optimization techniques.
• Experience with website optimization, speed improvements, and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to implement technical SEO fixes.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other web performance tracking tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles and user experience optimization.
• Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and website analytics is a plus.

Remuneration Package Includes:

• MYR4,500 – MYR6,500 (depending on experience)
