Test Analyst - Intermediate (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Rate: $62 - $68/HR

Candidate will establish testing approaches to effectively measure test results and provide confirmation; ensure test cases reflect the scope of business requirements and development being delivered.

Under direction, support the following activities:

• Review, evaluate and provide test input during business requirements and design specifications gathering sessions.

• Identify and communicate testing issues, implement process improvement and issue resolution.

• Identify the target test items to be evaluated by the test effort.

• Support in development and execution of test plans.

• Define the appropriate tests required and any associated test data.

• Gather and manage the test data.

• Evaluate the outcome of each test cycle.

• Identify the most appropriate implementation approach for a given test.

• Implement individual tests.

• Set up and execute the tests.

• Log outcomes and verify test execution.

• Analyze and recover from execution errors.

• Track test results, statistics, metrics and status.

• Attend necessary meetings to review testing inputs/outputs and provide status updates.

• Support project team members in the analysis of issues.

• Support project teams utilizing automated testing tools.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE - ERP/SAP Experience (proven in resume)

5 YEARS Minimum combined years of relevant education and experience in a role similar to this. Experience must be applicable to this role. Acceptable education includes degrees, diplomas and certificates.

5 YEARS Demonstrated experience working as a software tester in a software application development environment (details/description of environment must be included).

5 YEARS Demonstrated experience writing test cases from use cases, non-functional requirements and design documents.

5 YEARS Demonstrated experience preparing test data, executing tests and verifying results and logging issues.

5 YEARS Demonstrated experience and understanding of Software QA, Testing and Defect Life Cycle

5 YEARS recent strong hands-on experience in integrations testing/API testing/end-to-end testing - preferably in Mulesoft platform with Postman tool

5 YEARS Demonstrated experience in testing SAP applications and interfaces.

5 YEARS Demonstrated experience in JIRA and Azure DevOps

5 YEARS Experience with user acceptance testing including creation of user acceptance plan, status reporting, and managing assigned tasks

5 YEARS Experience assisting in reviewing, evaluating and providing test input during business requirements gathering and detailed design specifications

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

5 YEARS Experience with smoke testing, unit testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.

5 YEARS Demonstrated experience testing web applications.

5 YEARS Experience with testing integrated environments.

5 YEARS Experience developing API test scripts in Postman

5 YEARS Experience with data integrity standards.

5 YEARS Experience with SQL scripting and MS SQL Server.

5 YEARS Experience with Agile methodology.

Contract Term:

Estimated Start Date: Immediate

End Date: JULY 2025

Possible Extension 1 x 6 months

RATE: $62 - $68/HR

100% REMOTE - BUT MUST WORK INSIDE CANADA
