Lead Software Engineer

We are hiring for Software Development Manager/Lead

This is a full remote work that pays up to 220K monthly

At least 8 years of solid software engineering is required with 5 years of minimum leadership experience

MUST BE an expert of TypeScript & VueJS

Job Expectations:

• Base Salary: Php 160,000 - Php 220,000

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Lead Developer to join our client's team and lead the development, implementation, and management of their commercial lending platform. You will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of the platform. Leading a squad of talented developers, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. Your expertise will guide the team through complex technical challenges and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise software development within the financial services industry.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of user stories, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
• Support the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable system architectures.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Address technical issues and roadblocks, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Commercial lending platform - ideal to have experience, any financial-related background will suffice is preferred
• Proficiency in typescript is required; VueJS, Node, AWS, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL are a plus
• Experienced in building systems from the ground up; from scratch
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
• In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing technical teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Possesses excellent communication (verbal & written) skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Can start immediately if possible
