DevOps Engineer - Fully remote in NZ - Payments industry

The Company:

Globally renowned with offices throughout the world and a strong industry expertise within the payments industry.

This organization is looking to bring on a remote Senior DevOps Engineer to own the already existing DevOps function whilst also providing support to the team. Based anywhere in New Zealand

The role

As the DevOps Engineer you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure while providing technical support for the payments API platform and blockchain projects.

Requirements to be successful in the role:

• At least 5+ years working in DevOps / Site Reliability or similar field
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS or Azure)
• Must have worked with IaaS - Terraform
• Good working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Sentry)
• Not expert level but some experience with software engineering and coding in any language is needed
• Good communication and customer facing skills

Ideally:

• Will come from a payments background
• Ability to code with .NET and GO environments
• Knowledge of blockchain technologies
