Linux System administrator (good communicator, interested in cyber security and automation)

Essensium is a fast growing product development company in its scale up phase. It designs, produces, sells and provides service for Essensium real time positioning system for forklifts (EPS), based on computer vision & AI technology (SafeTrack TM). We are a solid and healthy company with brilliant people and flat culture. We do everything in-house, 100% in Belgium.

We are looking for Linux System administrator, interested in cyber security, automation and with good communication skills to take over our one-person IT department.

• Location: Leuven, 2-3d/week in the office
• Contract: full time permanent, relocation support in needed
• Start date: as soon as you are ready to start

Main skills and experience:

• 4-5 years as Linux and networks sysadmin
• Good communication skills (you will be interacting with clients)
• Some knowledge in cybersecurity and ISO27001 standards (work experience, hobby or theoretical education)
• Interest in automation of processes via CRM
• Structured and systematical approach to work
• Fluent English

What you will do:

1. System administration

• Servers (Linux)
• Network
• Linux laptops (currently 69) - little support, users are computer experts. Buy, install, support
• Windows laptops (currently 2-3). Buy, install, support

2. Cybersecurity

• ISO27001 maintenance
• Discuss security questionnaires with customers

3. Odoo ERP/CRM system

• Configure Odoo system
• Align company processes with Odoo
• Automate

4. Customer communication

• Discuss security questionnaires with customers
• Assist customers with network problems (connect new sites to our portal)

5. Google Workspace: Admin
