We are looking for a Telecom Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our telephony infrastructure. If you have expertise in Asterisk, A2Billing, FreePBX, and VOIP technologies, and want to play a key role in optimizing and scaling a high-impact communication platform, this role is for you.
- Manage and optimize VOIP infrastructure – Configure, maintain, and enhance Asterisk-based systems, including FreePBX and related technologies.
- A2Billing integration – Configure and troubleshoot A2Billing for prepaid/postpaid billing, call routing, and invoicing.
- Monitor and analyze performance – Ensure high call quality, system efficiency, and smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VOIP issues – Provide hands-on technical support to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
- Improve scalability & reliability – Assist in scaling the telephony infrastructure to accommodate growing demand.
- Enhance security & compliance – Implement best practices for firewall configurations, SIP security, and data protection.
- 4+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry
- Strong expertise in Asterisk, FreePBX, A2Billing, and other VOIP-related technologies
- Solid understanding of VOIP protocols (SIP, RTP, IAX) and telephony systems
- Proficiency in Linux environments (CentOS/Ubuntu preferred)
- Experience in system optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting VOIP issues
- Knowledge of telephony billing systems, including prepaid/postpaid models and A2Billing integration
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges in telephony infrastructure
- Familiarity with other VOIP systems and billing platforms is a plus
