Web/Mobile Application Developer

QuartzByte is seeking an experienced and talented Web/Mobile Application Developer to join our team on a contract basis for a specific project. This is a fully remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere. 

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in web and mobile application development, have a passion for writing scalable and maintainable code, and be familiar with modern development practices and tools. If you have experience with NestJS, React Native, React, and database ORMs like TypeORM or Sequelize, we’d love to hear from you!  

Key Responsibilities 

1. Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using frameworks like NestJS, React Native, and React. 
2. Implement push notifications for web and mobile platforms to enhance user engagement. 
3. Integrate and manage Payment APIs, such as Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Mastercard, ensuring secure and seamless transaction processing. 
4. Work with RESTful APIs and manage smooth third-party API integrations. 
5. Write scalable, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices. 
6. Leverage ORMs like TypeORM, Sequelize, or Mongoose for database modeling and query optimization. 
7. Utilize Postgres for designing and maintaining database structures. 
8. Document APIs, workflows, and application designs using tools like Swagger, enhancing collaboration and maintainability. 
9. Design responsive and engaging user interfaces with Tailwind CSS and other modern UI libraries. 
10. Use Amazon AWS services for deploying and managing scalable cloud-based solutions. 
11. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment, contributing to sprints and delivering iterative improvements. 

Qualifications 

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web and mobile application development. 
• Best Practices: 
• Writing scalable and maintainable code. 
• Knowledge of documentation practices to improve team collaboration. 
• Soft Skills: 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Ability to adapt to diverse project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. 

Bonus Skills 

• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit or integration tests.
