DevOps Engineer – Splunk Expert | 100% Remote | LATAM Opportunity (Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico)
Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Splunk administration to join their Developer Enablement group. This role focuses on maintaining and automating centralized logging platforms, ensuring scalability, high availability, and system efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Splunk Forwarders and Indexers, ensuring efficient data ingestion and platform optimization.
- Perform Splunk administrative tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage data indexing.
- Automate workflows using Ansible and Python, adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver actionable solutions.
- Document processes and train team members on best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Splunk administration (Forwarders and Indexers expertise required).
- Advanced knowledge of Linux environments, Python scripting, and automation tools like Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Loggly, Logstash, or Sumo Logic).
- Experience with version control (Git) and Agile practices (e.g., JIRA/Confluence).
- Basic knowledge of AWS Cloud or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) tools like OpenShift.
- Strong understanding of AWS Cloud.
