You'll be joining a tight-knit tech team of 8 experts in software development, machine learning, and data analytics - a fantastic opportunity to learn and collaborate in a cutting-edge environment.
As a Software Engineer, your work will involve:
Designing and implementing data pipelines and full-stack applications
Building web applications to analyse and visualize mobility data
Developing data connectors and pipelines for sensor and third-party integrations
Incorporating real-time analytics and machine learning into the platform
What they’re looking for:
5+ years of professional experience
Strong Python skills (they use FastAPI but no prior experience with the framework required)
Familiarity with React/TypeScript (backend focused position, so basic understanding is fine)
Experience with Cloud/DevOps tools (AWS, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of data engineering and pipelines (e.g., Snowflake DB, Kafka)
What’s on offer:
Salary: £60,000–£80,000 + share options
Flexible hybrid setup: meet in Central London twice a month, fully remote otherwise
