Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge security solutions that span multiple areas of cyber security. You will participate and have the opportunity to lead key engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and also mentor junior engineers to build secure and scalable systems that protect our clients from a wide range of cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implementation of secure and scalable SaaS applications, focusing on cyber security solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both security and business needs.
• Contribute to the different stages of the development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the established processes and security protocols.
• Continuously participate in the improvement of the development processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team maturity, delivery efficiency and product quality.

Job Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, including some experience leading a development team.
• Solid principles of software development and experience with state-of-the-art development practices.
• Solid experience on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP with a good understanding of modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with modern JS frameworks such as Vue.js for front-end development.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, system scalability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to drive technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English language professional proficiency.

Job Preferred Requirements

• Experience in Elixir, Erlang, Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or Scala/Play Framework.
• Experience in the ad-tech industry or working with ad fraud prevention technologies.
• Familiarity with big data technologies, such as GCP BigQuery or ClickHouse.
• Proficiency in Portuguese language is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits (beyond salary)

• Annual gross salary - 50-59k €, depending on experience;
