Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge security solutions that span multiple areas of cyber security. You will participate and have the opportunity to lead key engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and also mentor junior engineers to build secure and scalable systems that protect our clients from a wide range of cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, development, and implementation of secure and scalable SaaS applications, focusing on cyber security solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both security and business needs.
- Contribute to the different stages of the development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the established processes and security protocols.
- Continuously participate in the improvement of the development processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team maturity, delivery efficiency and product quality.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, including some experience leading a development team.
- Solid principles of software development and experience with state-of-the-art development practices.
- Solid experience on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP with a good understanding of modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with modern JS frameworks such as Vue.js for front-end development.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices, system scalability, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to drive technical discussions and architectural decisions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- English language professional proficiency.
Job Preferred Requirements
- Experience in Elixir, Erlang, Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or Scala/Play Framework.
- Experience in the ad-tech industry or working with ad fraud prevention technologies.
- Familiarity with big data technologies, such as GCP BigQuery or ClickHouse.
- Proficiency in Portuguese language is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits (beyond salary)
- Annual gross salary - 50-59k €, depending on experience;
