Wait, it’s nothing! Now the CHI team is looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer with Palantir experience.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of IT experience;
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir;
- Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Azure or Google Cloud;
- Strong background in data modeling and source system analysis;
- Proficiency with PySpark;
- Mastery of SQL;
- Ability to perform data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for designing and constructing data flows;
- Experience with data visualization and exploration tools;
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to teams;
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable data science solutions;
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Effective team player with outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills;
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
Must have skills:
- Data Analysis & Visualization.
Good-to-Have skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI.
Preferred (but not required) Skills:
- Experience preparing data for Data Science and Machine Learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive technical migration plan involving data ingestion, transformation, storage, and access control using Azure Data Factory and data lake solutions;
- Build scalable and reusable frameworks for efficient data ingestion;
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline by implementing robust validation and cleansing mechanisms;
- Work with event-based and streaming technologies for real-time data processing;
- Provide technical leadership and support, addressing technical challenges and guiding the team during migration and post-migration phases;
- Stay current with advancements in cloud computing, data engineering, and analytics technologies to recommend best practices and industry standards for data lake implementations.
