Qualifications for a Senior Software Engineer

• BS, MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• A successful candidate will have an established background in engineering large-scale software systems, strong technical ability, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve
• You have an understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
• You care about quality and know what it means to ship high-quality code
• You have served as the technical lead for sophisticated software development projects and mentored junior engineers Bonus
• Experience with/expertise in code analysis (DAST, SAST, Formal Verification)
• Experience with Natural Language Processing, deep learning, experimental design and A/B testing, recommender systems or other deployed data products
• Background in web3 space (solidity/evm), experience using snyk, experience building dev tooling or vuln databases, distributed systems expert, AI/ML expertise, security background
• Someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty (we wear multiple hats here and look exceptional in all of them!)
• Moves fast. learns quickly. adapts like a chameleon. (it's not survival of the fittest, its survival of the quickest to adapt)
• Bonus: can set and deliver on their own KPIs
• Someone who understands nothing good comes easy
• Must be relentless (no = an opportunity for a new proposal)
• Must be able to explain "why"- ie has thought through decisions thoroughly and can articulate why he has made a decision (additionally can articulate alternatepaths with pros/cons)
