Software QA Engineer (REMOTE Part time)

We’re looking for a experienced QA Engineer SaaS web application with tech stack is Laravel (backend), Next.js (frontend), RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL (database).

• Develop and execute test plans for features spanning the entire product (directory, referrals, friendship model, chat, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements, user flows, and edge cases.
• Create, run, and maintain test cases (functional, regression, integration, smoke) across backend and frontend components.
• Report and track defects in a clear, concise manner, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Validate features against requirements and document results, highlighting potential risks or gaps.
• Perform both manual and automated testing (if you bring automation skills) for new features and major updates.
• Coordinate with our product/design team to clarify acceptance criteria and ensure a consistent, user-friendly experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and best practices.
  

• Proven QA experience with web applications; SaaS product experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g., Laravel, Next.js, or similar) and RESTful APIs.
• Comfort working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL to verify data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to discuss issues with developers and stakeholders.
• Experience testing UI/UX flows and providing feedback for improvements.
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, GitHub Issues) and agile processes (Scrum/Kanban).
• Automation testing experience (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) is a bonus.
• A critical eye for detail and passion for delivering stable, high-quality software.
