Senior / Lead Java Engineer (AI SaaS Green Tech)

My client, a leading German software product company that has recently secured a €200M investment, is looking to grow their team with Lead and Senior Java Developers.

They’re building cutting-edge AI SaaS solutions within the Green Tech space and need experienced professionals to drive the architecture, mentor teams, and deliver scalable, high-quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and design backend Java-based software solutions

- Develop Java services and business logic components for innovative platforms

- Collaborate in an agile environment, working closely with professionals for both personal and team growth

Ideal Experience:

- Strong experience in Java/JavaEE and Spring Framework

- Database design expertise (Cassandra, ScyllaDB, or other NoSQL)

- Skilled in web services development and integration

- Automated Testing experience

- Knowledge of distributed systems, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch

- Proficiency in Git and agile methodologies, with some - DevOps experience

- Base salary of up to 110k Eur for Lead Engineers and up to 95k Eur for Senior Engineers
