Network Security Engineer

Job Title: Network Security Engineer (CDN/WAF Specialist)

Location: Fully Remote

Rate: £300 per day

Duration: Initial 6 months project

Start date : March 2025

We are are looking for an Implementation Consultant skilled in platforms like Cloudflare, Akamai, F5, or Imperva. The Implementation Consultant will implement and optimize CDN, WAF, DNSSEC, and firewall configurations to ensure secure, scalable client infrastructures. They will work with clients and teams to solve complex technical challenges and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Implements CDN and WAF solutions using platforms like Cloudflare and Akamai.

· Configures firewalls, DNSSEC, and edge computing frameworks.

· Conducts technical assessments and resolves performance and security issues.

· Advises on best practices for DDoS mitigation and secure application delivery.

· Documents solutions and stays updated on relevant technologies.

Required Skills:

· 3–5 years of experience with Cloudflare, Akamai, F5, or Imperva.

· Knowledge of CDN, WAF, firewalls, and DNSSEC.

· Networking expertise (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/SSL).

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Certifications (e.g., F5, AWS, CCSP).

· Scripting experience (Python or Bash).

· Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture.
