Key Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements and design reviews of new products to ensure testability and become familiar with product features.
- Design and implement automated test cases, primarily using Selenium or Playwright, with flexibility in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Implement BDD practices using tools such as Cucumber to improve test clarity and collaboration.
- Automate and validate APIs with tools like Postman and SoapUI to ensure robust API functionality.
- Assess application scalability and performance using tools like JMeter, ensuring performance standards are met.
- Embed automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing and immediate feedback.
- Conduct various testing types across projects, including end-to-end (E2E), functional, UAT, and performance testing.
- Develop custom scripts and tools for tasks like data generation and advanced test automation.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
- 5+ Years Experience: Extensive experience with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Programming Skills: Solid foundation in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Automation Framework Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Selenium or other automation frameworks.
- UI/UX Validation Expertise: Proven experience and enthusiasm for ensuring UI/UX design adherence.
- API Testing: Strong experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
- Performance Testing: Solid foundation in load and performance testing.
- CI/CD Pipeline: Proficient with CI/CD tools and workflows, particularly Jenkins and GitLab CI.
