Tech Lead (Frontend)

We are currently looking for Tech Lead (Front-end Area) to work in Japan.

💰 Starting from 10M JPY/year

🧑‍💻 5+ YoE on Front-end (TypeScript)

🗣️ Japanese (N2 level or above) and Business English

🌏 Relocation support available

As a front-end lead, we expect you to take the lead in making decisions and solving problems related to the front-end of the entire service.

Expected Role

• Leading technology selection and architecture decisions for rapidly expanding services and organizations
• Building front-end applications with continuous operational viability in mind
• Planning and formulating technology strategies aligned with business strategies, and technical leadership of development organizations

Requirements:

• Experience leading decision-making in technology selection, requirements definition, and architecture design for the front-end of services
• Experience leading the resolution of technical, product or development process issues
• Experience in maintaining and operating front-end frameworks in a way that makes them applicable to development.
• Development experience with TypeScript
• Ability to listen to and test hypotheses about UI/UX optimized for customers and users
• Fluent business communication skills in Japanese. Ability to complete daily tasks in Japanese, including text communication and meetings

Nice to Have:

• Experience in development and operation of large-scale services
• Experience in UI design and design for web applications
• Experience developing with WebAssembly
• Experience with back-end development using Node.js etc.
• Experience developing or using BFF using GraphQL, Apollo, etc.
• Experience in speeding up and optimizing web pages
• Development experience using SSR, CSR, SSG, AMP, PWA, etc.
• Business level English

Remote Work based

Day off: Saturday and Sunday

Working Hours: 11:00-16:00 (flextime with one hour break)
