About the Role:

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, deployment, testing, and integration of embedded software for hardware components tailored to the aerospace industry. Your work will focus on both current and future UAV projects, contributing to innovative advancements in unmanned systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop embedded software in C and C++ for UAV hardware components.
• Collaborate on software design and architecture to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Integrate software with hardware, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to deliver reliable, high-performance systems.
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of UAV systems, from prototypes to deployment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Experience in software design and architecture.
• Strong skills in software-hardware integration, testing, and debugging.
• Familiarity with UAS/UAV systems (highly regarded).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with team leaders in Dublin.
