QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly-skilled QA Automation Engineer to help design automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems; integrate into continuous and efficient processes, tools, and methodologies; improve control, accuracy, and integrity.

You will:

• Design and develop test cases and automation scripts.
• Develop strategies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness in terms of system, functionality, regression, performance, load, installation, security, interoperability, and stress tests.
• Define tests for backlog items, estimating tasks needed for creating manual and automated tests.
• Research issues in software through testing.
• Collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Perform functional testing based on user requirements.
• Implement end-to-end automation.
• Support tool research, analysis, and selection.
• Identify and analyze suitable opportunities for test automation.
• Support Testing and quality activities within Agile delivery.
• Assess candidates to automate regression test.

Skills and requirements:

• Previous experience as a test automation engineer.
• Excellent logical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
• 3+ years of hands-on quality assurance work with web-based applications.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications constructed using modern web frameworks such as React, Node.js, TypeScript and related technologies.
• Familiarity with emerging web platform best-practices, including progressive web applications, service workers, network optimization, and performance optimization.
• Excellent programming and debugging skills, including experience with test automation tools and libraries such as Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, Jest and JMeter.
• Secure API testing experience.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Mobile platform testing is a plus.
