About the Role:

On behalf of our US client, we're seeking a WordPress developer.

You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining custom WordPress websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and performant. You'll work closely with designers and other developers to bring projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solid WordPress development experience
• Build responsive websites that adapt seamlessly to different devices
• Implement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Troubleshoot and debug website issues
• Optimize websites for speed and performance
• Collaborate effectively with other team members
• Communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Ability to create custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Experience with responsive design principles
• Solid understanding of MySQL databases
• Comfortable using command line and Git version control
• Excellent attention to detail and clean coding practices
• Ability to work effectively in the USA timezone

Bonus Points for:

• Experience with Sage by roots.io
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS
• Knowledge of React, Redux, or Vue
• PHP back-end development skills
• Shopify/Liquid experience
• Technical SEO knowledge
